Protaras Cyprus
Protaras is a resort town located in eastern Cyprus, and it is well-known for both its beaches and Fig Tree Bay. The latter features an old lone fig tree, while the former has Hellenistic tombs that have been excavated.
To the northwest of the bay sits the limestone Church of Profitis Ilias, which marks one end of a nature trail leading to Konnos Beach. Finally, Cape Greco National Forest Park—with its clear waters and protected pine forest trails—can be found to southProtarastes=r southglacial origin.
